The clinician will provide comprehensive family medicine services to adult patients in a correctional facility setting, managing 8-15 patients daily during four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Clinical responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations for injuries, acute illnesses, follow-ups, physicals, and complicated chronic care patients while performing urgent care services and minor procedures. The position requires Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certification, BLS certification, Washington state licensure, and DEA registration with no call requirements. The clinician will maintain accurate medical documentation while collaborating with facility staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the correctional healthcare delivery framework.
