Schedule: 7 on / 7 off block schedule, 10-hour shifts
We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive medical care, including admissions, H&Ps, and ongoing management for patients ages 5+. This role focuses on supporting both the medical and behavioral health needs of patients in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform initial medical admission evaluations and H&Ps within 24 hours of admission
Conduct follow-up visits, diagnostic evaluations, and discharge planning
Manage care for patients ages 5+ with a variety of medical needs
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and support staff to develop integrated treatment plans
Co-manage patients with complex medical comorbidities alongside behavioral health providers
Provide medical consultations and recommend appropriate diagnostic tests and treatments
Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications
Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, or related field preferred
