About the clinician's workday

The nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive family medicine services in a Federally Qualified Health Center setting, managing 24-25 patients per day with a 15-20% no-show rate across all age groups. Clinical responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations for routine primary care needs, managing chronic medical conditions, providing preventive healthcare services, and treating acute illnesses as they present. The clinician will work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with no call requirements, maintaining accurate medical records and collaborating with assigned medical assistants, licensed vocational nurses, and additional physicians and advanced practice providers onsite to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the FQHC healthcare delivery framework.
