Job Description:
Wound Care Provider Opportunity – Gainesville, Georgia
Schedule
• 1 day per week for approximately 6 months
• Start date: As soon as possible (within the next two weeks)
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• No call, nights, or weekends
• No travel or lodging provided
Provider Responsibilities
• Assess patients and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing staff and facility administration
• Utilize the facility formulary and follow established protocols
• Document patient encounters in the facility's proprietary EMR at the time of service
• Discuss treatment plans and goals with PCPs and family members
Procedures
• Debridement
• Incision & Drainage (I&D)
• Cauterization
• Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT)
• Skin substitutes
• Biopsies
• Suture removal
Requirements
• Experience in wound care is strongly preferred
