Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant needed for full-time coverage at federal corrections locations
• Facility located in SeaTac, WA
• Monday – Friday (40 hours)
• 6:00a – 2:30p
• 6-month initial commitment
• Must be ANCC or AANP/ NCCPA certified
• BLS and at least one year of corrections experience preferred
• Washington license is required
• Roughly 8 week credentialing period
• SCOPE OF WORK
• Take medical histories, examine patients, and order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays
• Make a diagnosis, provide treatment plans and prescribe medications from facility formulary
• Clinically manage injuries by suturing, splinting, and immobilizing
• General sick/well visits, some chronic care coverage
• Provider must use facility EMR, training will be provided
