Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care services to patients in the outpatient setting.
Scheduled Clinical Hours: Maintain a schedule of clinical hours as specified, ensuring availability during the designated coverage times.
EMR Utilization: Effectively navigate and utilize the NextGen Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to document patient encounters, manage records, and communicate with other healthcare providers.
Collaboration: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
Compliance: Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Continuous Education: Stay updated on current medical practices, guidelines, and trends to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with patients, families, and colleagues to promote effective care coordination.
Qualifications:
Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Mexico.
Board eligibility or certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
Experience working in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Proficiency in using NextGen EMR system.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
