About the clinician's workday

The nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive family medicine services to adult detainees aged 17 and older in a correctional facility setting, managing approximately 12 patients per day during one day per week with a maximum of 12 hours per shift. Clinical responsibilities include delivering primary care services, managing chronic and acute medical conditions, and maintaining accurate documentation using the Sapphire EMR system. The position requires mandatory typing skills and corrections experience is preferred. Call schedule is negotiable with 24/7/365 availability for emergent calls and email response within 4 hours while awake for those who accept call responsibilities.
