Fulfil is partnering with a clinic in Hawthorne, New York, 1-hour from NYC with an opening for a Nurse Practitioner to provide locum Primary Care coverage.
Opportunity Overview:
Schedule: 9a-5p, 4 days per week
PAY RATE: $85/hour
Projected need is through March 2024
NO call required
Daily Census: 16-17
Patient Population: ALL AGES
EMR: Elation Health
Must be able to work independently
Board certification required
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients of ALL AGES, from infants to seniors
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
-Provider will be working solo/independently; NO other provider onsite. There will be a medical assistant and receptionist in clinic.
Experience:
- MUST have a couple years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner; No new grads.
- Experience working with patients of ALL AGES, including children, adults, and seniors
-Comfortable working alone as the sole provider
Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to make accurate diagnoses
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Ability to provide compassionate care to individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and performing medical procedures
