🩺 Primary Care APP – Portland, OR (Local Only)

Job description

We are seeking a Primary Care NP or PA for a 4-month locums assignment in the Portland metro area. This role is ideal for a provider with strong family medicine experience who is local and can start quickly.

⚠️ Note: Candidates must be local to the Portland metro area (no travel or lodging provided).

Assignment Details:
Start Date: ASAP (prefer July 1)
Contract Length: 4 months
Schedule: 40 hours/week
36 patient care hours
4 admin hours
Shift Range: Monday–Friday between 7:30am–5:30pm

Practice Setting:
Family Medicine Residency Clinic
Full-spectrum care: birth through end of life
Integrated behavioral health + collaborative care model
EMR: Epic

Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
Provide preventive care for patients of all ages
See 14–16 patients per day
Optional procedures (if trained/comfortable): minor skin + GYN
Support Staff: Dedicated Medical Assistant; Full care team including nurses, social workers, pharmacist, and more

Requirements:
Minimum 3 years primary care experience (family medicine preferred)
Pediatric experience is a plus
Active Oregon license required
Board certified
DEA not required

Credentialing: ~5 months (expedited process; potential to shadow prior to full start)
