This facility is part of Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans through Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. The organization provides vital services across the country with flexible scheduling options for healthcare providers.

Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Job Details:
• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans • Current openings in West Virginia: Gassaway (1 day per week) and Nutter Fort (1 day per week) within 50-mile radius • Provider must have their own office for seeing Veterans • PRN basis, ongoing opportunity • Option to work half days (4-hours) or full days (8-hours) • One-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments • Primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing • No prescribing or treatment responsibilities • Quick credentialing and onboarding process • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions • Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products) • Requires AANP certification • Must maintain active and unrestricted full license • Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified • Follow-up administrative work required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics) • Weekends can be accepted but are not required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
