About the clinician's workday

The nurse practitioner will deliver comprehensive family medicine care to adult patients in a correctional facility setting, managing diverse primary care needs including chronic disease management, acute illness treatment, and preventive healthcare services. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations for approximately 18-20 patients, collaborating with registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the specialized correctional healthcare environment. The clinician will maintain a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call requirements, utilizing the Naphcare EMR system for documentation and patient care coordination.
