Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a full-time Family Practice NP for a 3-month contract in Southwest Washington with the possibility to extend. This assignment offers consistent weekday scheduling, a supportive care team environment, and the opportunity to serve diverse patient populations in a community health center setting. With a patient panel ranging from newborns to geriatrics, this is an excellent opportunity for providers experienced in outpatient ambulatory care and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed (must be available to start within 4 weeks)
• Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p (40 hrs/week; 1-hour unpaid lunch)

Case Mix
• Patient Population: Newborns–geriatrics
• Services: Outpatient ambulatory family medicine, walk-in/acute care, chronic disease management
• Procedures: Basic procedures (injections, IUD placement, minor wound care)

Practice Model
• Setting: Community Health Center – outpatient ambulatory
• Support Staff: Dedicated MA, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, onsite pediatrician, local health care administrator
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Active WA license required (non-licensed candidates not considered)
• DEA: Active WA DEA required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years as FNP with face-to-face patient care within past year (must include PEDS)
• Other: Clean background required; must be comfortable with higher patient volume (up to 16/day); interest or experience in working with vulnerable populations strongly preferred
