Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend
Coverage: Monday–Friday, No Call
Schedule
Hours: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Work Week: 40 hours/week
Workday: 8-hour day + 1-hour unpaid lunch
Setting: Outpatient ambulatory, Community Health Center
Work Details
Support Staff: Dedicated MA, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, onsite pediatrician (most locations), and a local healthcare administrator (handles timecards).
Coverage Need: Full-time, 40 hrs/week
Patient Volume: Up to 18/day (may vary with cancellations)
Patient Population: Newborns through geriatrics
Department Description:
Community Health Center serving vulnerable populations, migrants, and refugees
Interpretation services onsite
Family medicine, walk-in/acute care, and chronic disease management
Providers may see same-day walk-ins
EMR: EPIC
Procedures: Basic primary care (injections, IUD placement, minor wound care)
Skills: Must be able to work independently; 1-week ramp-up with patient care expected by Day 3
Requirements
Board Certification: Required
License: Active WA license required (no exceptions)
DEA: Active WA DEA required
Certifications: Determined during credentialing; provider responsible for obtaining any required (BLS, ACLS, etc.)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years as an FNP
Must have seen patients face-to-face within the past year
Must have PEDS face-to-face patient care within the past year
Clean background required; no malpractice will be considered
Languages: Spanish or Russian a plus
Vaccinations: COVID + flu required

Timeframe: 2–3 weeks
