The nurse practitioner will deliver comprehensive family medicine care to adult patients in a correctional facility setting, managing injuries, acute illnesses, follow-ups, physicals, and complicated chronic care cases. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, treating urgent care conditions, performing minor procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records while seeing 8-15 patients daily. The clinician will work four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexible scheduling options, collaborating with medical assistants, physicians, and nurse practitioners to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the correctional healthcare environment.
