This correctional facility provides outpatient primary care services to an adult male population in a secure clinical environment in Washington state. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery, with a clinical focus on chronic care management, urgent care, and minor procedures. On-site support staff, including medical assistants, physicians, and nurse practitioners, are available to facilitate daily clinical operations.

Clinicians will provide outpatient primary care services to adult patients in a correctional facility setting, working four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with work hours open to negotiation and a five 8-hour shift schedule also considered. The expected caseload is 8-15 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing injury management, acute illness treatment, follow-up visits, physicals, complicated chronic care management, urgent care, acute care, and minor procedures such as toenail removal, small joint injections, and incision and drainage. Required credentials include an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certification (negotiable), BLS, Washington state license, DEA registration, and prescriptive authority. The facility is supported by on-site medical assistants, physicians, and nurse practitioners, and credentialing for this position is estimated at 1-2 weeks.
