This correctional facility delivers outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to an adult population in a secure clinical environment in Washington state. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery. Clinical workflows are structured to address the primary and chronic care needs of the patient population served.
Washington state offers a range of outdoor and cultural experiences suited to varied interests. The region provides access to national parks, island destinations, and coastal areas, as well as urban parks, waterfront experiences, arts festivals, and live music venues. Clinicians on assignment will find year-round recreational and cultural activities available throughout the state.
Clinicians will provide outpatient primary care services to adult patients at a correctional facility in Washington state, working Tuesday through Friday on four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with an expected caseload of 8-15 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include injury management, acute illness treatment, follow-up visits, physicals, complicated chronic care management, urgent care, acute care, and minor procedures within a structured correctional setting. Required credentials include an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certification (negotiable), BLS, Washington state license, DEA registration, and prescriptive authority. Credentialing for this position is estimated at 1-7 days.
