This correctional facility delivers outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to an adult population in a secure clinical environment in Washington state. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery to support consistent care for the patient population. Clinical workflows are structured to address the primary and chronic care needs of the patients served.
Washington state offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor recreation, regional attractions, and cultural experiences suited to varied interests. The region features diverse trail systems, scenic natural landscapes, and year-round recreational opportunities. Clinicians may also explore the state's well-known natural features and regional points of interest during time away from assignment.
Clinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to adult patients at a correctional facility in Washington, working either four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (with Tuesday through Thursday off) or Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The expected caseload is 5-8 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing injury management, acute illness treatment, follow-up visits, physicals, complicated chronic care management, urgent care, and minor procedures. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Required credentials include a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine board certification (negotiable), BLS, Washington state license, DEA registration, COVID vaccination, and prescriptive authority; credentialing is estimated at 1-2 weeks.
