Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and ambulatory surgery centers.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in health status.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform medical procedures such as specimen collection processing, medical imaging, esthetic laser treatments, and neonatal ventilator management.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures.
Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in various medical specialties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in medical coding and documentation to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) used for patient care.
- Knowledge of family planning services and counseling.
