About the clinician's workday

The physician associate will provide comprehensive family medicine services in a Federally Qualified Health Center setting, managing diverse primary care cases for patients of all ages during standard business hours. Clinical responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, managing chronic medical conditions, providing preventive healthcare services, and treating acute illnesses while maintaining accurate medical documentation. The position requires working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM with no call requirements, managing 24-25 patients daily with a 20% no-show rate. The clinician will collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, licensed vocational nurses, medical assistants, and registered nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the FQHC healthcare delivery framework.
