A well-established community health center (FQHC) in the Mountain Home and Glenns Ferry, Idaho area is seeking a locum Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 180-day assignment running June (or ASAP) through December 2026. Temp-to-perm conversion is available for the right candidate.
The position combines primary care and urgent care, serving an underserved patient population of all ages. Expected volume is 15-20 patients per day, Monday-Friday, with one Saturday per month (with a weekday off in exchange) and no call required.
Idaho state licensure is required. The client provides housing, one round-trip flight, and a rental car for the duration of the assignment.
Mountain Home (population ~32,000) sits about 45 minutes southeast of Boise, while Glenns Ferry (population ~1,500) is 65 minutes from Boise. The region offers stunning high-desert scenery, world-class outdoor recreation, and easy access to Idaho's capital city.
