The facility operates as a primary care clinic delivering outpatient services to patients of all ages within a structured clinical environment. Clinical workflows are structured to address the primary care needs of the patient population served, with the majority of patients being adults.
The area surrounding this assignment offers clinicians access to a range of historical, cultural, and recreational attractions. Points of interest include Faneuil Hall, the Freedom Trail - a 2.5-mile walking path connecting 16 revolutionary sites - and the historic neighborhood of Beacon Hill, known for its brick sidewalks and townhouses. Additional options include the Museum of Fine Arts, sightseeing cruises on the harbor, the Head of the Charles Regatta on the Charles River, and day trips to destinations such as Salem, accessible approximately 30 minutes away by train, and Martha's Vineyard.
The clinician will provide outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages at an on-site primary care clinic, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call responsibilities. The expected caseload is 14 patients per day, structured as 7 patients in the morning and 7 in the afternoon, with the majority of patients being adults. Clinicians will receive 1 hour of administrative time for every 4 hours worked to support documentation and care coordination. A state physician associate license, DEA registration, and prescriptive authority are required; board certification is negotiable, with a credentialing timeframe of approximately 7 days and one reference required.
