About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide clinic-based primary care services to adult patients in a correctional facility setting in Virginia, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the potential to work four 10-hour shifts. The expected caseload is approximately 18-20 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing patient evaluations, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Required credentials include a Virginia PA license, DEA registration, and prescriptive authority; board certification is negotiable, and credentialing is estimated at two weeks.
