The physician associate will deliver comprehensive family medicine services to adult patients in a correctional facility environment, managing diverse primary care cases including injuries, acute illnesses, follow-ups, physicals, and complicated chronic care patients. Clinical duties include conducting thorough patient evaluations, providing urgent care services, performing minor procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records while seeing 8-15 patients daily. The clinician will work flexible scheduling with options for four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or five 8-hour shifts with no call requirements, collaborating with medical assistants, physicians, and nurse practitioners to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes within the specialized correctional healthcare delivery framework.
