This correctional facility provides outpatient primary care services to an adult male population in a secure clinical environment in Washington state. The facility operates with established protocols suited to corrections-based healthcare delivery, with a clinical focus on chronic care management, urgent care, and minor procedures. On-site support staff, including medical assistants, physicians, and nurse practitioners, are available to support daily clinical operations, and credentialing for this position is estimated at 1-2 weeks.

Clinicians will provide outpatient primary care services to adult patients in a correctional facility setting, working four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with scheduling open to negotiation, including five 8-hour shifts. The expected caseload is 8-15 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing injury management, acute illness treatment, follow-up visits, physicals, complicated chronic care management, urgent care, and minor procedures such as toenail removal, small joint injections, and incision and drainage. Required credentials include an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certification (negotiable), BLS, Washington state license, and DEA registration; prescriptive authority is required. Clinicians will be supported on-site by medical assistants, physicians, and nurse practitioners.
