Malibu Medical Group is a fast growing private practice in coastal California looking for an experienced, compassionate, attentive, and conscientious Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant!

Essential Responsibilities:
- Conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests and overseeing patients’ health. You’ll be both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives.
- Follow up on and coordinate patient care inside and outside of our office.
- Work with referring providers and outside providers to support the patients.
- Prescribe medications.
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
- Assist physician day to day as needed with patient care and follow up.
- Ability to treat provide in-home service to clients within a 50-mile radius
- On call responsibilities monthly
Qualifications:
- Active CA Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner license.
- Maintain the highest regard for discretion and patient privacy.
- Minimum of 5 years of primary care, acute care - and chronic care practices.
- Must be comfortable in a single-provider office, being independent experience (Doctor oversees practice and works out of another office 1/10 mile away);
-Must have excellent communication, ability to interpret and understand patient's needs, strong follow up and relationship-building skills.
- Strong work ethic.

- Ability to build strong rapport.
- Interest in continually learning new information.
- Strong interest in finding solutions to problems for patients.
- Excellent time management, organization and follow up skills.
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations.
- Candidate must reside in commutable distance from our office location in Malibu, CA.
