We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner FNP to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat adults illnesses, a small percentage are foster care children (no infants) perform paps
Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients; full spectrum of Family Care, adults and senior medical conditions
Perform minor procedures such as wound care, paps, cultures, toe nail removals, incision and drainage, trigger point injections
Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
Monitor patients progress through vaious types of follow up care and make treatment adjustments as necessary
Order diagnostic tests, labs and other studies to help identify and develop a care management plan
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Other responsibilites as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience or new graduates that are open to following established protocol and learn
Ability to build rapport with patients
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership qualities
Bilingual a plus but not a must
Paper charting, no EMR
