Urgent Care NP/PA Needed – San Luis Obispo, CA
Start Date: May 2026
Contract Length: 3 months with option to extend
Schedule:
3x12-hour shifts (8 AM – 8 PM)
Clinic open 7 days/week; schedule varies week to week
Must be open to working weekends
May float between two nearby urgent care locations
Practice Details:
Private practice setting — provider makes medical decisions independently
No physician on-site
High volume: ~40–45 patients per day
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced urgent care environment
Procedures:
Laceration repairs
Incision & drainage (abscess)
Toenail removal
Requirements:
ED or Urgent Care experience required
BLS certification (AHA) required
Active California license required
Credentialing: ASAP
