Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed for full-time coverage with FCI in MN
• Facility Location: in Waseca, MN - roughly 80 mi south of Minneapolis (~1.5 hours)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30a – 4:00p (40 hours)
• Contract Dates: ASAP (4-6 week credentialing) - 6 mo. initial commitment, with option to extend
• Must be ANCC or AANP/NCCPA certified
• BLS required and at least one year of corrections experience preferred
• ANY state license (NP/PA)
Scope:
- Provide female health care services to include breast exams, pelvic exams, and pap smears
- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services for the inmate
- Make a diagnosis, provide treatment plans and prescribe medications from facility formulary
- Procedures: suturing, splinting, and immobilizing
