✅ Qualifications
✔️ Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited NP program
✔️ License: Active New York State Nurse Practitioner License
✔️ Certification: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner required
✔️ Experience: New graduates welcome (Part-time applicants require 6 months NP experience)
✔️ Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, geriatric pharmacotherapy, and chronic disease management
✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Provide primary and acute care for residents in a nursing home setting
✔️ Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
✔️ Prescribe medications and therapies within NP scope of practice
✔️ Order and interpret diagnostic tests
✔️ Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
✔️ Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care
✔️ Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
