Conduct nursing home surveys and complaint investigations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, helping maintain quality standards and resident safety in long-term care settings.

✅ Qualifications
✔️ Education: Nursing degree required; Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred
✔️ Licensure: Active New York State RN license
✔️ Experience (one of the following):
2+ years in utilization review, claims adjudication, medical review, fraud investigation, surveillance, or monitoring activities
3+ years of clinical or administrative experience
BSN + 2 years of clinical or administrative experience
✔️ Certification: SMQT certification preferred (required within 12 months of employment)
✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Conduct surveys and complaint investigations in nursing homes
✔️ Investigate allegations of abuse, neglect, and regulatory violations
✔️ Prepare Statements of Deficiencies (SOD) and detailed documentation
✔️ Evaluate facility Plans of Correction and regulatory compliance
✔️ Complete data entry in federal and state reporting systems
✔️ Participate in Immediate Jeopardy monitoring situations
✔️ Attend required meetings and regulatory reviews
✔️ Provide testimony in administrative hearings when necessary
✔️ Travel to facilities according to assigned schedule
