We are currently seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join a dynamic team within the Portland, Oregon area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and promoting oral health. Hours: Full-time, 40hrs a week.
Responsibilities:
Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Take and develop dental x-rays
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems
Follow strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality

Requirements:
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice
Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix and Dexis (but willing to teach)
Knowledge of medical terminology
Strong understanding of infection control practices in a dental setting
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients of all ages
License/Certification:
Registered Dental Hygienist
*Must have anesthesia endorsement.
*Must have nitrous endorsement or be willing to obtain.
*Must have the NPI registry or be willing to obtain.
