About the Role:
The Physician Assistant is a licensed healthcare professional who works under the authority of a medical physician and aids in providing patient care. This is a unique opportunity to join a clinic focused on the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) and musculoskeletal conditions. The multidisciplinary team collaborates closely with each patient to design and deliver personalized, holistic treatment plans that address both visible and underlying injuries. Our ultimate goal is to enhance each patient’s quality of life by supporting their journey toward functional independence.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Patient Contact (Consults and F/Us)
Responsible for examining and treating patients
Conduct physical examinations
Prescribe and/or administer treatment and medication
Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatments and medication
Order supportive care services for patients
Order and interpret neurodiagnostic tests
Order and interpret diagnostic imaging
Patient Contact (Procedures):
ONBs
Botox
TPIs
Prolotherapy
Shared informed consent with patients
SOAP notes for every encounter:
Effectively document findings and interpretations
Post-Appointment orders
Scheduling of follow-up appointments
Treatment Planning:
Individual Patient Planning
“Plan” component of every patient SOAP note
Reference case limits when recommending/referring to ICs and clinical partners
Coordination of care with external providers
Support:
Emails
Creating Templates for clinical documentation
Direct communication with clinical partners and attorneys
Attendance and participation at required meetings
Travel 1-2 times per week to satellite locations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to perform independent Medical Assessments and Procedures
Able to analyze data from medical records and examine findings to complete the assessment and form medical opinions
Able to stay on task, manage time appropriately and meet requirements
Detail-oriented and able to properly document in patient records
Ability to travel 1-2 times per week to satellite locations
Proficient in the use of a computer, EHR, and other applications
Must have a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
Holds a current and unrestricted Physician Assistant (NCCPA accredited) license for California
Ability to obtain a Physician Assistant license for Nevada within 90 days of employment

Salary:
$135,200 - $156,000
