Physician Assistant Bronx, NY
We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant to join our medical practice part time in Bronx, NY. We are flexible in our need and can accommodate a PA looking for either part time or full-time work. The PA-C will work under the supervision of the Physician or Surgeon but may also work independently, consulting with Physicians when necessary. Experience in all areas of medicine a plus but may specialize in an area such as pain management. Our ideal PA demonstrates a strong attention to detail, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a great bedside manner, and is competent in their clinical skills.
Duties:
• Evaluate and mange patient care
• Coordination of care
• Provide continuity of patient care
• Patient consultation- See new and follow up with major medical patients, Physical exam, and take social/medical histories
• Order and review tests/diagnostics
• Document encounter
• Create treatment plans
• Prescribe medication
• Health promotion and maintenance
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Assist practice physician when needed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• PA-C licensed to practice in NY
• Clinical skills in Pain Management and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation knowledge a plus
• BLS certification
• Recent grads welcome
Compensation:
• $125k per year (DOE)
Schedule:
• Part time or Full time
