Advanced Practitioners - Hospitalist/Emergency
Job Details:
- Per diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner role within an inpatient medicine hospitalist setting
- Provide full-spectrum inpatient care including triaging, admitting, rounding, discharging, and addressing changes in clinical status
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals to specialists
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within scope of practice and refer outside-of-scope issues to physician
- Must hold an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License or be eligible
- Must be a certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of 1+ year of experience in an internal medicine or hospitalist setting required
- Monday through Sunday availability with flexible scheduling
- No call schedule required
- Comprehensive orientation provided for new and experienced providers
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
