This inpatient facility is seeking locum tenens Nurse Practitioner coverage to support its Hospitalist program during a full-time equivalent clinician's leave of absence. The facility operates within a structured hospitalist coverage model and maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality care delivery. Credentialing for this assignment is estimated to take 4-5 weeks.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide inpatient hospitalist coverage during day shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, on an on-site basis. Responsibilities include managing 12-15 admissions per shift across an all-ages patient population in accordance with established clinical protocols. Physician and medical assistant support are available throughout the assignment. Prescriptive authority is required for this locum tenens position.
