Ohio Hospitalist Locums | Admissions Only | 5–7 Shifts/Month

Job description

Ohio facility seeking Hospitalist APPs for ongoing locum tenens coverage. Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible with an active Ohio license. Providers must be available for stretches of 5–7 shifts per month. Credentialing averages 90 days.

Hospitalists will handle admissions only and supervise APPs. Daily admits average 36.1 with no swing admits. The ICU is closed and managed by intensivists. EMR is Epic.

MDs are responsible for codes, and while the Rapid Response Team is led by the ER, Hospitalists do respond.

• Closed ICU (12 beds) with 36 ED beds; average daily census of 150
• Must hold an active Ohio license and have 2 years inpatient experience within the last 12 months
• Procedures (intubations/central lines) preferred but not required; at least one provider per night must be procedure-capable
