Job description

• Oversee and manage the patient services department, including front desk staff, patient coordinators, and other support personnel.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction, streamline patient flow, and improve overall patient experience.
• Collaborate with medical staff, nursing teams, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care activities.
• Monitor and evaluate patient service metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage patient scheduling, registration, and check-in processes to optimize efficiency and reduce waiting times.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction.
• Train and mentor staff members, providing guidance on best practices, customer service, and patient interaction.
• Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures related to patient services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Implement technology solutions to enhance patient engagement and communication, such as online appointment scheduling and patient portals.
• Collaborate with the finance department to manage patient billing and payment processes accurately and efficiently.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in patient services to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present reports on patient services metrics and performance to senior management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of patient care processes, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare management software and patient information systems.
