This inpatient facility operates within a structured hospitalist coverage model and maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality care delivery for an adult patient population. The facility provides orientation, EMR training, and a shadow shift for incoming locum clinicians to ensure continuity of clinical operations. Locum tenens Physician Associate coverage is sought on an ongoing basis.
Florida's Panhandle region offers a range of outdoor and recreational activities suited to varied interests. The area is recognized for its white-sand beaches, state parks, and historical attractions, including opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, nature watching, and exploration of natural features such as Florida's tallest waterfall. Clinicians on assignment will also find water-based recreation, wildlife tours, shopping destinations, and historical sites throughout the region.
Clinicians will provide inpatient hospitalist coverage as on-site day rounders on a 7 on/7 off schedule, with call coverage required three times per week. The patient census is 21-25 patients per clinician, consisting of adult inpatient medical conditions managed in accordance with established clinical protocols. An orientation period, EMR training, and a shadow shift are provided at the start of the assignment to support a structured transition into the clinical environment. Board certification, prescriptive authority, an active state license, and an active state DEA are required for this locum tenens assignment.
