Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Internal Medicine
Job Details:
- Provide locum tenens coverage on a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with full-time on-site coverage required
- Work within an inpatient psychiatric unit focusing exclusively on medical issue management, not behavioral health
- Handle HMP consults addressing medical concerns such as sore throats, rashes, medication consults, and diabetic management
- Provide adult-only care including consult services, ED coverage, and inpatient rounding
- Manage up to 10 patient encounters per shift
- Work alongside a supportive team including mid-level providers, social workers, and nursing staff
- On-site only position - no telehealth services
- Active Massachusetts license required - no other state licenses accepted
- Board certification required at minimum certified level
- Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days with the medical staff
Compensation:
