The Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner will provide outpatient primary care services to an adult patient population at an on-site primary care clinic, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call responsibilities. The expected caseload is 14 patients per day, structured as 7 patients in the morning and 7 in the afternoon, with 1 hour of administrative time allotted for every 4 hours worked. Clinical responsibilities encompass the evaluation and management of primary care conditions, with a majority adult patient population. A state nurse practitioner license, DEA registration, and prescriptive authority are required; board certification is negotiable, with a credentialing timeframe of approximately 7 days and one reference required.
