Schedule: Thurs – Sat, 6pm-6am; Every other Wednesday, 6pm-6am; OT happens after 80 hours every 2 weeks; Minimum - 2 weeks per month but strongly prefer full-time candidates only to work weekly
Setting: Correctional Facility
Types of Cases: Nighttime responsibilities include the assessment of people entering the jail during that time and initial treatment of their acute and medical needs, supervising initiation of detox treatment for newly incarcerated individuals by substance use specialist nurses, evaluating other urgent and emergent issues as they arise.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): TechCare
Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pennsylvania (DEA) certifications required. Must be Board Certified.
Licensure required: Active Pennsylvania license required
Provider can begin working while in the credentialing process.
Support: MD/DO by phone, nursing support in-house
