Travel Recruiter With Active Pipeline 1099 Commission Only Remote

Overview

Heartline Staffing is seeking one experienced Travel Healthcare Recruiter for a 1099 commission-only opportunity.

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for a recruiter who already understands the travel healthcare space and can independently source, engage, and submit qualified candidates for contract assignments.

The ideal candidate will come in with either:
An existing pipeline of candidates, or
Active travelers currently on assignment

This is a production-driven role designed for recruiters who want full control of their desk and unlimited earning potential.

What You’ll Recruit
Registered Nurses (acute care / hospital settings)
Allied Health professionals (radiology, surgical tech, and more)
Contract-based travel assignments nationwide

Responsibilities
Source candidates through cold calling, texting, LinkedIn, and social media
Build and maintain a consistent candidate pipeline
Screen candidates for clinical fit and submission readiness
Submit qualified candidates to open travel roles
Maintain consistent communication and follow-up
Operate independently while leveraging available tools and support

Expectations
Ramp to 1 qualified submission per week by 90 days
Average 1–2 placements per month once ramped
Bring on at least 1 new traveler within your first 90 days
Consistently source, screen, and submit quality candidates

Compensation
100% Commission-Based (1099)
Unlimited earning potential based on production

Qualifications
Proven experience in travel healthcare recruiting
Familiarity with VMS platforms and contract-based placements
Strong understanding of acute care hospital roles and/or allied health
Existing pipeline or active travelers preferred
Ability to independently source, screen, and submit candidates

Requirements

Prior travel healthcare recruiting experience required
Must be able to source and submit candidates independently
Strong communication and follow-up skills
Comfortable with cold outreach and pipeline building
Self-motivated and production-focused
