We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic practice full time in Clifton, NJ. We are a well-established Orthopedic group, and we are looking to hire a licensed and certified Surgical PA to assist with both in office care as well as surgical first assisting/OR. This is a rewarding opportunity with an experienced and well-respected team! Our practice is designed to offer all encompassing orthopedic care, from diagnosis through treatment, surgery and rehabilitation. Primary Job responsibilities:
• Performs comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries
• Orders and interprets laboratory and radiographic studies
• Educates and counsels patients on diagnosis, pre- and post-surgical limitations/follow up
• Documentation/SOAP notes- timely and accurate
• Collaborates with surgical team to create treatment plan for patients
