Pediatrics Outpatient Nurse Practitioner Needed in Merced County CA
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Schedule: 3x12, Days per week
Facility Type: Rural Health Clinic.
Practice Setting: Outpatient.
Experience Required: 1-2 Years MINIMUM.
Required Certs: BLS, PALS, ACLS.
Procedures/Experience: The only special procedures is Cryo-Freeze for warts, we do ear lavages but that is performed by the MA. Many newborns a couple days after birth to check for Jaundice, physical and immunizations, referrals out to specialties. Pediatric clinics, to see infants to 21 years of age at times. School physicals, knowledge of vaccination schedule. Will have to assist with CBI physicals and VFC program regulations.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-120 Days.
Active CA License Required
Medical malpractice insurance, travel, and lodging provided
