Location: New Haven, CT
Schedule: 3×12-hour night shifts per week (6p–6a)
Preferred: Tuesday–Thursday nights + 1–2 weekends/month (flexible)
EMR: Epic

Join a nationally recognized pediatric cardiac ICU team at a large teaching hospital, providing advanced critical care to complex cardiac patients. This role offers hands-on procedural experience, collaborative team support, and exposure to a high-acuity, academic environment.

Position Highlights
• Night shift with attending and fellow on-site at all times
• Full hospital support – RT, RN, surgical, and ancillary teams
• Procedures: central line placement, intubation, arterial lines (ART), and pacing wire experience preferred but not required
• Mix of acuity – average 5–6 patients, may increase to 10–12 post-surgery
• Flexible scheduling options available

Requirements
• Active state license preferred (open to licensing)
• Strong procedural and bedside rounding skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working closely with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams

• 3x12 hour night shifts per week
• 6p-6a; Tuesday-Thursday nights preferred with 1-2 weekends per month but can be flexible.
• Full hospital support; night shift always has one attending and one fellow present as well.
