Job description

Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Participates in the hiring, supervision, and evaluation of assigned staff.
2. Responsible for clinical staff schedule and coverage.
3. Facilitation and oversight of all medical supply, vaccine, and related item vendor accounts, ordering, and inventory.
4. Provides professional and technical support to staff and troubleshoots the delivery of patient care. Responds to requests from families and other concerned parties regarding patient care issues.
5. Identifies training needs for staff and facilitates staff development. Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of training, orientation, and education programs.
6. Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with standards, laws, regulations, and procedures. Recommends new and/or revised policies and procedures to the department manager.
1. Maintains office all clinical quality licenses and corresponding requirements.
2. Assists in PCMH annual recertification.
3. Oversees HEDIS and other quality related measures and educates staff on appropriate quality care practices.
7. Reviews and uses clinical and medical records to determine health care patterns and assignment of appropriate resources. Ensures corrective actions.
8. Other duties as determined and assigned by President Physician and Practice Administrator.
