Job description

An outpatient facility is looking for a psychiatric nurse practitioner for coverage.
The facility is located in northeastern Connecticut.
The schedule is part-time, 24 hours per week. The locum will be treating all ages. An active CT license is required or in process.

Dates Needed:  February 2024 - 3 months with the option to extend
Case Load/PPD:  10-12
Shift Type:  Day Shift
Assignment Type:  Outpatient
Assignment Duration:  Locums
Shift Hours:  Part time (24 hours)
Med Checks/Follow-up per day (OP Only):  15-20 minutes
Initial Evaluation Time:  60 minutes
Cases Treated:  General anxiety, depression, some complex acute cases
Call Required:  No
Board Certification Required:  Yes
Prescriptive Authority Required:  Yes
Patient Population:  All Ages
Support Staff:  psychiatrist, 1 other psych np, as well as: RN, MA, reception, care coordination, office manager
