We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a locum tenens opportunity with an established outpatient practice in Florida. This role is focused on providing high-quality psychiatric care in a supportive, efficient clinical environment.

The position offers a consistent weekly schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with flexibility for telehealth or hybrid care delivery. The provider will primarily manage an existing panel of patients, with an emphasis on medication management and follow-up visits rather than high volumes of new evaluations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PMHNP looking for a low-acuity, outpatient setting with streamlined workflows, strong administrative support, and minimal operational burden.

The clinic utilizes AthenaOne EHR system and has dedicated staff in place to assist with scheduling, patient coordination, and documentation workflows, allowing providers to focus on clinical care.

Provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for outpatient patients
Manage follow-up visits for an established patient panel
Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care
