Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join the team at its an Outpatient Clinic. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care in an outpatient setting while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing patient assessments

  • Diagnose mental health disorders and provide evidence-based treatment, including care for patients with substance use disorders

  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans with a focus on patient safety and harm reduction

  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications as appropriate

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed

  • Meet productivity and billing expectations

  • Provide coverage for team members during vacations to ensure continuity of care

Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing forms

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational regulations, including HIPAA

Collaboration & Professional Development
  • Work closely with physicians, psychotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

  • Participate in regular clinical supervision with the Medical Director

  • Assist with training and onboarding of new staff or trainees as needed

Qualifications
  • Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

  • Experience working with diverse patient populations, including individuals with substance use disorders

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance

Compensation is based on factors such as experience, education, training, certifications, job responsibilities, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws.
