This behavioral health organization delivers comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health services to a geriatric patient population within assisted living and skilled nursing settings. Clinicians on assignment will find a welcoming environment with options for dining, cycling, and exploring the broader Pacific Northwest region.
Clinicians in this role will provide full-time psychiatric services for a geriatric population (ages 60 and older) within assisted living and skilled nursing settings, working day shifts Monday through Friday during regular business hours, totaling 40 hours per week on-site, with weekly travel between facilities. Clinical responsibilities include initial psychiatric evaluations (approximately 40 minutes), follow-up visits (approximately 20 minutes), diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions, medication management, and collaboration with facility care teams. Clinicians are expected to manage 15 patients per day during the initial 60-day ramp-up period, with caseload increasing to approximately 20 patients per day once established. A rotating caseload of approximately 200 patients is maintained, with most patients seen biweekly; no call coverage is required for this assignment.
